Oh my how snow flies! Hearing for K, 2 and 4th grades. I have made my first rounds and next Monday afternoon I will go through the students I missed or were absent. Vision screening for 1,3 and 5 will begin after that. Please dress your students in layers for comfort. Also….please keep an extra set of clothes in their bag whether you are K or 5. Shared viruses and other things = Fun + Friends + Germs + Long weekends. The best practice to keep your child healthy is hand washing, reminding them about covering their cough or sneeze and washing after, drinking plenty of fluids, eating right and absolutely getting a good night of sleep! If your student is run down and having fun with their friends and their friends’ germs, there is an increased chance their body will not be able to fight the virus. Sometimes you know when kids are sick and you don’t have playdates, sometimes they get sick the next day but were contagious the night before. If your student is well rested, well fed, well hydrated you did your best to fight the virus. Be vigilant on checking for lice after long weekends. They are constant out in the community. Enjoy the beautiful clean snow, drive careful. Nurse Danna |

Matching Contributions As the end of 2019 approaches, please consider company matching to maximize contributions to the Red Pine PTO. If your company has a charitable giving matching program, any contributions that you’ve made to the Red Pine PTO (i.e. Boosterthon) are eligible for matching, as it is a 501c3. If you need the tax id number, please either contact Kerry Lehr at kerrylehr@hotmail.com or Jami Willander at jamjacks@hotmail.com Thanks much,
Coke Rewards The best part? Donations don’t come out of your own pocket. When you make Coca-Cola purchases, you simply enter the product codes here: https://us.coca-cola.com/give/schools/ and our school receives a donation. Do you know of any company that would allow a box to be set up to collect Coca-Cola caps? We can get a box all set up and will drop off and pick up the caps! (there is a collection box in the entry area of the school as well) Please contact Ashlie Brown at Ashliebrown427@gmail.com if interested. |
