News from Student Council **We will donate toys to Toys for Tots on Wednesday, December 4thon KARE 11 news at 10:00 pm. ** The Red Pine Student Council will have a food drive the second week in December. The wonderful donations brought in by our own Red Pine families will be donated to The Open Door Pantry in Eagan. More information about The Open Door Pantry is available by clicking on the link below. Greetings, Fourth Grade Families! - change of time!! The fourth grade music program is rapidly approaching and I have a few notes I need to pass on to you all. First, the music program is scheduled for Thursday, December 5 but the start time has been changed to 6:00! Please make note of this important time change! Students will be able to report to their classrooms at 5:30 that evening. I would like to have the students wear their music program T-shirt (information will be coming soon) and on the bottom I would like to have them wear long, solid colored dark pants of some sort – ie. jeans, leggings, athletic pants, etc. It would be very helpful if the pants had a pocket in them for some very important props! If you have any questions, please contact me at school. See you on December, 5 at 6:00 p.m.
In the Computer Lab Grade 1: Keep learning your address! That’s my message to first graders because each one of them wants to see their house on Google Maps. Please help your child learn his/her house number, street name, and city. Thank you for your help! Grade 2: Thanks for the amazing music performance! Now we will return to doing online research in class. Your child is very interested in the search terms you use when you do an online search. Grade 5: Thanksgiving break is a great time to take pictures! Each student has a list of pictures that they need to take for a video project. Please ask your child if he/she needs any help with this assignment. News from the Bird Feeder: Free/Reduced Applications are Online** We welcome all visitors to come in and join us at lunchtime. Coke Rewards The best part? Donations don’t come out of your own pocket. When you make Coca-Cola purchases, you simply enter the product codes here: https://us.coca-cola.com/give/schools/ and our school receives a donation. Do you know of any company that would allow a box to be set up to collect Coca-Cola caps? We can get a box all set up and will drop off and pick up the caps! (there is a collection box in the entry area of the school as well) Please contact Ashlie Brownat Ashliebrown427@gmail.com if interested. |
